An American woman of the modern west... Her Great Grandmother had two choices, marry or be a spinster. An unmarried maid in her twenties was considered an old maid, (often derogatory), and if fortunate, lived in the home of her parents, brother, or a married sister. She owned nothing and was forced to do the most demeaning of jobs in gratitude for her support. The lucky ones fell in love and married. Many just choose marriage. Self-assured, independent, and positive she has many choices, this freed modern woman no longer has to say, I Don't Do Windows. No one even asks.
