I DON'T MAKE COFFEE, EITHER is the second painting in my series on the American Woman. The first was I DON'T DO WINDOWS. The idea for the series came from a 20th century urban debate over secretaries asked by their bosses to perform what some thought were menial tasks, making coffee and running errands. It seemed to me that any woman who refused to do dishes would not make coffee, either. Everyone knew better than to ask, too.
