This painting is a visual reminder of one of Christ's most comforting messages:
"Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is
forgotten before God?...Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many
sparrows." (Luke 12:6-7) It is a comforting thought to consider that
somewhere there is a Creator who is aware of and has love even for the least of
his creations.
